Through the medium of double exposure photography, using a large format 6x4 camera - Confluence Of Identity explores the concept of representation using a range of Birmingham based artists. A portrait, used to represent external elements of their person, is overlaid with details from the environment that represent internal aspects of their character.
Depictions range from literal concepts (connecting the artists directly to their practice) to more metaphoric ideas of representation.
